I have been using an online booking system in my practice for over 2 years now and the results have been nothing short of amazing!
Over 90% of our bookings are received over the internet, which means, not only do I save thousands of dollars each month by not having a receptionist, but my treatments are not interrupted by noisy phones ringing and people looking to ask questions and make appointments with me.
After working in the massage industry for almost 10 years this has been the single best thing I could have done for my business to reduce my overheads and workload at the same time. All I need to do is one ½ hr massage each month to pay for the cost of running my booking system! Too easy : )
Running a business and being a therapist are 2 entirely different skill sets and once you start to get busy you will notice you no longer have time to answer phone calls and stand there answering a clients questions over the phone. This can unfortunately begin to effect your level of therapy.
Your clients will soon be getting frustrated on the table, wishing you would hurry up and give them the attention they are paying you for and there now becomes the real possibility of you losing the client on the table, with them never returning again!
You will be amazed at the time and effort that is saved once you introduce such a system into your own practice. Not only this, the level of professionalism it offers your business and clients is second to none aswell. Taking bookings 24/7 also increases your ability to take appointments massively!
What I think is really cool, is I now have International clients who live overseas but they visit Brisbane regularly on business and book their appointments wherever they may be. There’s no time difference or international call costs when it’s all online for them!
The other great thing is it allows you the independence of running your own business and rather than helping out physiotherapists and chiropractors to build their practices you can do this on your very own and pay yourself not them!
I have seen too many great therapists disappear because they couldn’t run a business properly, this will rapidly increase your ability to manage your time much more efficiently and the chances of having the success you deserve for helping others to overcome their pain and discomfort.
You only become a massage therapist because you are passionate about helping people, but we all need a little help too so we can concentrate on doing what we do best, helping others get better.
I don’t know of a single product or service that bang for buck can help my business more! |

We have only recently introduced the emassage online booking system into our Melbourne practice, but already we are noticing a considerable difference in how things are operating around here.
Our phone interruptions have quite obviously reduced a considerable amount and we have noticed that bookings are now being received outside our normal hours of operation, for example late at night and on Sundays.
We still have an answering machine to take phone calls when we are not open also, but we can now direct our potentially new clients to our website where they can have their questions about things such as pricing and health rebates answered and then make their own booking online.
Usually when a client wants to make an appointment it’s because they are in a considerable amount of pain and they need to know there and then on the spot when they can be helped. If they do not get an answer they will continue to phone around until they do. That is of course, unless they are a regular client of yours.
The booking system is great for this. We believe a number of our new clients have been stopped from calling around to find an appointment if we are not able to answer the phone.
I really like being part of a network like this also as it makes me a part of something bigger which offers my clients a good sense of security. They know they can not only trust us but can be assured that we are qualified therapists who can offer them a professional service.
There are so many people out there looking for our services that you will never need to be concerned with other therapists joining this network it will only make you a better therapist and start to show people the benefits of massage are far greater than most other therapies out there! |
